Terms of Service
Last updated: August 23, 2026. These terms are written for overseas business buyers using the Taskal Japan Store, including single-item holds, cart holds and Japan-side product requests.
1. Operator and scope
Taskal Japan Store is operated by Mori Yuta in Tokyo, Japan. Contact: info@morimorida.com.
The shop is intended only for overseas shops, retailers, and business buyers ordering Japanese hobby goods, trading cards, snacks and related products. Consumer purchases, Japanese domestic consumer orders, and orders for personal household use are not accepted through this website unless Taskal separately agrees in writing.
Taskal is an independent Japan-side buying desk. Taskal is not an official distributor, manufacturer, marketplace, escrow service, money transmitter, customs broker, or legal/tax adviser.
2. Reservations are not completed sales
A reservation temporarily holds the listed item, lot, or cart for 60 minutes. Adding an item to the browser cart does not hold inventory; the hold begins only after checkout creates an order number. Taskal rechecks current stock and the order details before requesting payment. The order is not accepted and Taskal does not start purchasing until payment has fully arrived and Taskal confirms the sender name, payment amount, order number, and item availability.
Inventory can change quickly. If a listed item becomes unavailable, the price changes, the seller changes conditions, or quantity limits prevent purchase, Taskal will ask for approval before substituting or changing the order.
3. Payment
After Taskal confirms current stock and the order details, payments are made manually in USD by Wise or bank transfer. The buyer is responsible for all Wise, bank, intermediary, and transfer fees, so the net amount received by Taskal must match the confirmed payable amount. A payment screenshot may be useful for reference, but it is not treated as completed payment by itself.
Payments are accepted for Taskal's own sourcing transactions only. Taskal does not hold funds as escrow, process payments for third parties, or transfer money on behalf of buyers.
4. Price coverage
The Wise reservation amount or final payable amount normally covers the item, Taskal's Japan-side sourcing and handling, domestic shipping within Japan, and packing. International freight, import duties, customs charges, brokerage fees, local taxes, and destination-side costs are handled separately unless a quote clearly states otherwise.
5. Availability failures and refunds
If Taskal cannot secure the item at the quoted condition, price, and quantity after payment arrives, Taskal will either ask whether you want an adjusted order or refund the payment received for the unavailable item. No substitution is made without buyer approval.
If only part of an order can be sourced, the buyer may choose a partial order, an adjusted quote, or a refund for the unavailable portion.
6. Cancellations and returns
Even after Wise payment arrives, the buyer may cancel before Taskal begins order handling for the Japan-side purchase. If cancellation is accepted before order handling begins, Taskal will refund 100% of the payment received for the cancelled item.
After Taskal begins order handling, any cancellation or refund will exclude costs already paid, reserved, booked, or incurred by Taskal, including supplier payments, non-refundable deposits, platform fees, domestic shipping, packing, cancellation fees, and international shipping costs if already paid, booked, or incurred.
After order completion, cancellation or return is generally not available unless the supplier accepts it, the item is materially different from what was quoted, or applicable law requires otherwise.
Sealed random products, blind products, trading cards, collectibles, and limited inventory may not be returnable after purchase or shipment unless required by applicable law or accepted by the original supplier.
7. Authenticity, condition, and risk notes
Taskal checks seller reliability, product condition, sealed status, photos, receipts, and tracking where practical. Taskal is not the manufacturer or official distributor unless explicitly stated. Product availability, packaging condition, and supplier limits can change before purchase.
Open, loose, used, or second-hand items are handled only where Taskal can do so lawfully and with appropriate records. Taskal may refuse any request that would require additional licenses, identity verification, recordkeeping, or compliance steps that are not yet completed.
8. Prohibited and restricted products
Taskal may refuse or cancel requests involving counterfeit goods, unauthorised goods, intellectual-property infringement, illegally imported or exported goods, sanctions risk, weapons, controlled goods, pharmaceuticals, hazardous goods, gambling-related goods, or any product that may be illegal or restricted in Japan, the destination country, or under a payment provider's rules.
Food and snack orders are accepted only after Taskal checks destination eligibility, carrier acceptance, remaining shelf life, package condition, and available ingredient and allergen information. The buyer remains responsible for destination-country labelling, food-import, resale, and local compliance requirements.
9. Shipping, customs, and import responsibility
International shipping is quoted or confirmed after packed size, weight, destination, and method are known. The buyer is responsible for import duties, taxes, customs clearance, brokerage fees, and compliance with destination-country rules.
Where export-control, carrier, customs, brand, or destination-country restrictions apply, Taskal may refuse the order, request additional information, or cancel and refund the unavailable portion before purchase.
10. Changes and governing language
Taskal may update these terms as the service changes. English is the primary language for these terms unless Taskal provides a separate signed agreement.
