Refund Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026. This policy is designed for confirmed manual USD payment and Japan-side order handling where stock is rechecked before payment is requested.

1. If stock cannot be secured

If Wise payment has arrived but Taskal cannot secure the item at the quoted condition, price, and quantity, Taskal will ask whether you want an adjusted order or issue a refund for the unavailable item. No substitute item is purchased without your approval.

2. If the final price or condition changes

If the Japan-side seller changes price, quantity, delivery timing, or condition before purchase, Taskal will confirm the change with you. If you do not approve the change, Taskal will refund the payment received for that item or portion.

3. Buyer cancellation before order handling

Even after Wise payment arrives, you may cancel before Taskal begins order handling for the Japan-side purchase. If cancellation is accepted before order handling begins, Taskal will refund 100% of the payment received for the cancelled item.

Wise, bank, intermediary, currency conversion, and transfer fees are outside Taskal's control and may not be recoverable.

4. After order handling begins

After Taskal begins order handling, any cancellation or refund will exclude costs already paid, reserved, booked, or incurred by Taskal, including supplier payments, non-refundable deposits, platform fees, domestic shipping, packing, cancellation fees, and international shipping costs if already paid, booked, or incurred.

5. After order completion

After order completion, refunds or returns depend on the supplier's rules, the item type, and whether the item is materially different from what was quoted. Sealed trading cards, blind products, random products, collectibles, and limited items may not be returnable after purchase.

6. Refund method and timing

Refunds are normally sent back by Wise or bank transfer to the original sender where practical. Taskal normally initiates approved refunds within 5 business days after the refund decision or after Taskal receives any required supplier refund. Actual arrival time depends on Wise, banks, and intermediary institutions.
